Summer (AKA our favourite season of the year) is just around the corner (at least we hope!), which means it’s about time we all brush up on our knowledge of beach hairstyles. We mean, who doesn’t want to look fabulous on vacay, right?
Luckily, with so many gorgeous beach hair ideas out there, you’re spoilt for choice on which styles to rock. Peekaboo braids
For a super-simple-to-achieve, yet utterly chic beach look, opt for peekaboo braids. These teeny-tiny plaits will show when your hair blows in the wind and stay hidden when it’s not so breezy (hence their name).
To get this look, take a 1 or 2-inch section of hair from the under layers your mane and braid using the traditional 3-strand plaiting method. Then secure it a few inches from the end with a clear elastic band. Continue plaiting different sections around your head, always ensuring that they’re taken from underneath. Headband wrap
Protect the top of your hair from frizzing in the heat by wrapping a headband around your crown for that nonchalant, Pirates of the Caribbean-inspired look that’s just perfect for roaming the clear blue seas. It’s no secret that messy buns are nearly every girl’s go-to beach look. Why? Because they’re super easy to style and can help you keep hair off your face at the same time.
