It's fashun, darling...
Last night, V Magazine held a dinner in honour of eccentric designer, Karl Lagerfeld. And as you can imagine, the who’s who of the fashion world was in full attendance; from momager Kris Jenner through to catwalk icon Naomi Campbell, it seems like everyone bagged an invite (except us!).
For those of you who didn’t get a ticket also, fret not, as we’ve got all the mane details from le soiree, below! So kick your feet up and feast on the most fashionable hair highlights.
V Magazine dinner: The best looks from the star-studded event
Joan Smalls’ sleek power pony
Looking pretty in pink, model Joan Smalls turned heads with this simple yet effective poker straight ponytail, which perfectly showed off the her long dark brown tresses.
We love the shorter layers that frame Joan’s face, as they add a more romantic feel to the smooth and sleek hairstyle.
Mariah Carey’s diva tresses
We all know that Mariah Carey has earned her title as one of the world’s biggest divas and, well, this diva is not one to experiment when it comes to her hair – because if it isn’t broke why fix it, eh?
Wearing her signature blonde tresses long, Mariah added loose waves through the lengths of her hair for a soft finish.
Juana Burga’s glamorous waves
Juana Burga looked sensational at the V Magazine dinner, channelling old Hollywood vibes with a contemporary edge.
The model wore her dark medium-length tresses in a side parting and added large glamorous curls to give her look a sultry finish. The sheer plunging neckline with sequin detailing pulled the whole look together, for a fresh-off-the-catwalk style!
Editor’s tip: For Juana’s glamorous finish, try spritzing your mane with the VO5 Wave Creation Hairspray, as this will help seal in your style for longer.
Duckie Thot’s waist-length locks
The former Australia’s Next Top Model contestant is a familiar face to anyone who has been keeping tabs on Rihanna‘s Instagram lately. Duckie Thot has become the go-to name for 2017 and we have to say, she is definitely on our ones to watch list in the hair department, too.
Hanging out with new BFF Naomi Campbell at the dinner, Duckie showed off her waist-length Rapunzel locks with gorgeous, loose bohemian curls.
Leigh Lezark’s high-shine bob
Fashion muse Leigh Lezark is a regular on the fashion scene, often spotted front row or DJing at all the industry parties. But it’s not just her music credentials that we love, as her flawless hairstyles also steal our attention.
Wearing her black bob with super sharp curled-under ends, Leigh’s hairdo is styled to perfection, and looks both chic and edgy when paired with her kohl-lined eyes.
Editor’s tip: Want to achieve Leigh’s all-over shine and silky finish? We suggest using the TONI&GUY Shine Gloss Serum, as not only will this little gem give your tresses a salon-smooth sheen, but it will also helps to control frizz!
Ella Purnell’s ’60s-inspired style
Channeling some swinging ‘60s vibes, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children actress, Ella Purnell, went for a natural-looking finish on her golden brown tresses. While we love the nonchalant approach to her hair, it’s the Jane Birkin-inspired bangs that really make this look note-worthy.
Gigi Hadid’s wet-look bun
Taking a break from some avant-garde hairstyles on the runway, model Gigi Hadid went for a more chic look by wearing her blonde tresses in a middle parting + wet-look bun combo, which helped to draw attention to her smokey metallic eye makeup. #goals!
